Who We Are & Scope
Orvial Tech is an independent software company that designs, develops, and publishes mobile applications for iOS and Android. This policy covers all applications published under the Orvial Tech developer account, as well as this website (orvialtech.com).
Our website itself does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics. If you simply browse this site, we collect nothing about you.
Information We Collect
We build our products around the principle of data minimization: we only collect what is genuinely needed for an app to work well. Depending on the app and how you use it, we may collect:
- Information you provide directly — such as your email address and message contents when you contact support, or feedback you choose to send us.
- Automatically collected technical data — such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, region, and anonymized crash or diagnostic reports that help us fix problems.
- Purchase information — anonymized transaction receipts from Apple or Google confirming a purchase or subscription, used solely to unlock the features you paid for.
Many of our apps work without an account and store your content locally on your device or in your personal iCloud or Google account, where we cannot access it. We do not collect precise location data, contacts, or photos unless a specific feature clearly requires it and you grant permission through your operating system.
How Information Is Used
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our applications.
- Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve stability and performance.
- Respond to your support requests and feedback.
- Process and verify purchases and subscriptions.
- Understand, in aggregate, which features are used so we can make better products.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for cross-app tracking or build advertising profiles about you.
Third-Party Services
Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, which process your account, payment, and download information under their own privacy policies. In addition, some of our apps rely on a small number of carefully chosen service providers — for example, crash reporting, subscription management, or anonymized analytics.
These providers process data only on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes. We recommend reviewing Apple's and Google's privacy policies for details on how they handle data associated with your store account.
Analytics
Some of our apps include privacy-conscious analytics that record aggregated, pseudonymous usage events — for example, that a feature was opened, not what you did inside it. This helps us understand which features matter and where the experience can be improved.
Where analytics are used, they are configured to minimize identifiers and never include the content you create. Several of our apps include no analytics at all.
Purchases & Subscriptions
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google through their in-app purchase systems. We never receive or store your payment card details. We may receive an anonymized receipt that confirms a valid purchase so the app can unlock the features you paid for and restore them on your other devices.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their respective policies.
Advertising
Most of our applications are completely free of third-party advertising. If a specific app displays ads, this will be clearly disclosed on its store listing, and the advertising partner may process a device advertising identifier for purposes such as frequency capping and fraud prevention.
Where required by law or platform policy (for example, Apple's App Tracking Transparency), you will be asked for consent first, and declining will never remove functionality from the app.
Data Security
We take security seriously and apply industry-standard safeguards: data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what is strictly necessary, and we favor on-device storage over servers wherever possible. The best protection, however, is simply collecting less — which is why data minimization is a design principle in everything we ship.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users as required by law.
Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy. Support correspondence is retained for a reasonable period so we can follow up on your request. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained for a limited time by our service providers and then deleted or aggregated.
Content you create inside our apps and store on your own device or personal cloud account remains under your control and can be deleted by you at any time. You may also request deletion of any data we hold by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
Our applications are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
International Users
Our apps are available worldwide, and the limited data described in this policy may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards and work only with providers that meet recognized data protection standards.
Depending on where you live — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we release new apps or when regulations change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will provide notice through our apps or this website. Continued use of our applications after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
